Release Notes 1.0.4 Groundhog GDS Viewer© Overview: Groundhog GDS Viewer© is an application that is used to visualize VLSI chips saved in the GDSII format. Purpose: The main focus of the product is to use alpha blending techniques to visualize the data, version the industry standard of stipling patterns. We believe that by using alpha blending we will allow better understanding of the chips that our clients will be using. By using alpha blending it also lends to the ability to visualize heirarchy of the chip. Issue Summary: - Integrated preferences with drawing code - Fixed a problem modifying draw order - Added preferences for z position and thickness - Using BitMap scraping for optimizing drawing engine - Made some UI enhancements to preference window - Added a setup project for an .msi installer - Added drag-drop functionality - Added print preview - Added print capability - Added ability to toggle visibility - Added Zooming and dragging of plot End-User Impact: - Older preferences may not open correctly in newer version of applications - User will notice some UI changes Notes: There are no changes to the process of installing the application, as it stands right now you can install the program via the online installer located at http://projects.conklusion.com/publish/ Disclaimers: We take no responsibility if data is lost, time is lost, or computer crashes due to application crashes.
