CS4500 Weekly Management Report

Project Status

            Now that we have covered off on the basic functionality with our most recent build, we will start

                focusing on productionalizing our application and preparing it for our first release drop on 3/13.

 

                We will essentially be heads down, coding our final implementation.

 

Accomplishments

                Team – Started Third sprint

                                -Final product for First Release on 3/13

                Tim – Modified drawing manager to account for SREFs and AREFs

                                Greatly simplified the drawing of complex and nested objects

Adam – Began work on Preferences UI that will allow user to save color/alpha options

                              Worked on VVP document [Sections 2 & 3]

Curtis -  Began work on Preferences UI that will allow user to save color/alpha options

                Worked on VVP document [Sections 2 & 3]

                Josh – Worked on VVP [Sections 4-8]

                                Worked with Tim to verify object model, and discussed draw mechanism                        

Scott – Worked on VVP Document [Sections 4-8]

             Verified print support and tested using PDF printer

 

Goals & Priorities

● Short

○ Complete work on VVR document due 3/13 [Curtis, Adam]

                -Deliverable: Rough draft due 3/10

○ Present POC during meeting with Prof. Brunvand 3/10 [Tim, Adam]

                -Deliverable: Successful review with all sub features

○ Develop app Library for printing to Epson printer 2/24 [Scott, Curtis]

                -Deliverable: C# library that can be plugged into our final app.

○ Review POC for  3/10 [Josh, Adam, Tim]

                -Deliverable: Merged C# solution that contains work from both teams.

○ Continue QA process for application 3/3 [Adam, Curtis, Josh]

                -Deliverable: Test plans completed for review on 3/3

○ Start Sprint 3 – Branch to final working app, and formalize the structure of the application. [Tim, Adam, Josh, Curtis, Scott]

                -Deliverable: Structured and fully documented application framework

● Long

            ○ Develop User Interface look and feel 3/10 [Curtis]
