Project Status

            Things are progressing well for our first code drop. Tim's efforts on the Graphics engine have been

                a huge benefit to our product.  With the UI updates and features that we've been adding, the first drop

                should be very usable, and user friendly.

 

                We are still focused on getting the application ready for the first release.

 

Accomplishments

                Team – Finishing Third sprint

                                -Final product for First Release on 3/13

                Tim – Updated Drawing/Graphics to recursively draw Structures in refs. 

                            Completed rotation and flipping of structures

                           Optimized code for greater redraw rate.

Adam – Completed work on Preferences UI that will allow user to save color/alpha options

                               

Curtis -  Completed work on Preferences UI that will allow user to save color/alpha options

                Worked on VVP document [Sections 2 & 3]

                Josh – Worked on code for drawing text/fonts in OpenGL for Text objects

Scott – Continued work on Print integration, and memory management.

                Worked on optimizations for print driver that will allow for handling large images.

 

Goals & Priorities

● Short

○ Complete work on VVR document due 3/13 [Curtis, Adam]

                -Deliverable: Rough draft due 3/10

○ Present POC during meeting with Prof. Brunvand 3/10 [Tim, Adam]

                -Deliverable: Successful review with all sub features

○ Review POC for  3/10 [Josh, Adam, Tim]

                -Deliverable: Merged C# solution that contains work from both teams.

○ Continue QA process for application 3/12 [Adam, Curtis, Josh]

                -Deliverable: Test plans executed by 3/12

○ Finish Sprint 3 – Branch to final working app, and formalize the structure of the application. [Tim, Adam, Josh, Curtis, Scott]

                -Deliverable: Structured and fully documented application framework

● Long

            ○ Implement additional User Interface features as specified by Customer 3/24 [Curtis]

            ○ Print test file on Epson plotter 3/24(delayed) [Scott, Curtis]

            ○ QA testing and verification Complete 3/31. [Adam, Curtis, Josh]
